Check the filter pressure, baskets, and water clarity periodically during the process. Heavy debris can quickly load a filter or clog baskets, reducing circulation just when the pool needs it most. Clean or backwash the filter when indicated by the manufacturer’s recommendations rather than relying on a fixed schedule.

If the water remains cloudy despite proper chemistry, adequate sanitizer, good circulation, and a clean filter, there may be another issue that needs to be addressed.
