Trusted Shavano Park Pool Service

Weekly full-service pool cleaning in Shavano Park typically runs about $219–$299 per month, based on your pool's size and the service you choose. Heat, leaf debris, and hard water make weekly visits ideal here, and that routine keeps algae, scale, and chemistry swings under control.

Once a week is the standard for residential pools in Shavano Park. Commercial pools usually need two to three visits a week. Cedar pollen and leaf drop can turn a skipped week into a cloudy pool, so a steady schedule pays off.

A typical visit takes 30–60 minutes. Pool size, debris load, and time since the last cleaning all change that number. Extra jobs like filter service can add a little, and your tech will tell you what to expect.

Yes. An automatic cleaner handles floor debris, but it won't balance your chemistry, scrub walls and steps, or check your equipment. Our techs cover all of that every week and catch small problems before they grow.

Yes. Our chemical-only service in Shavano Park includes water testing, chemical adjustments, basket emptying, and a quick equipment check. It suits owners who like to brush and vacuum on their own but want a pro watching the chemistry.

Test at least once a week, and more often after heavy use, storms, or a hot stretch. With hard water, calcium and pH drift, so regular readings catch changes early.

Hard water is the biggest factor. Shavano Park pools are filled with aquifer water that runs hard. That calcium builds scale on tile and inside equipment and makes pH harder to hold steady. Poolie checks calcium hardness, alkalinity, and pH at every visit and treats early.

Yes. Our repair team handles everything from weak pumps and tired heaters to leaks, valves, lights, and automation. We trace the root cause, walk you through the options, then repair it with quality parts. Poolie's own staff does the work, not subcontractors.

Yes, in some cases. It comes down to the brand and the setup. Send us the details and our repair team will say whether we can service it safely and reliably.

No. We service in-ground pools and attached spas that share the pool's equipment. Stand-alone hot tubs run on different parts and call for different diagnostics and specialist training, so we leave those to others.

The diagnostic visit is $199 before taxes for new repair-only customers and $150 for existing Poolie customers. It includes a full inspection by a certified tech, a plain-language explanation, and a written estimate before work begins.

Yes, in some cases. Reworking benches, steps, or depth is fairly common. Changing the footprint takes structural work, and pool projects need a city permit, so we assess your pool first and give you an honest view of what's possible, plus timeline and budget.

A renovation improves comfort, safety, and looks all at once. New plaster smooths out rough, stained surfaces, and fresh tile and coping cut down trip hazards. Add equipment upgrades, and you get a pool that's easier to maintain.

Try cleaner tile lines, a lighter interior finish, roomier steps or benches, and LED lighting. Fresh coping and a new finish alone can lift an older pool. We'll suggest upgrades that suit your yard and budget.

Careful surface prep and well-chosen materials come first, whether that's standard plaster, quartz, or pebble. We also pay attention to expansion joints and drainage. A maintenance plan afterward keeps the new surface looking good.
