We appreciate you choosing Poolie for your pool’s drain and pressure wash! We’re dedicated to restoring your pool to crystal clear conditions as quickly as possible. Here are the eight key things you should know about the process:

Drain and Pressure Wash Process

Here’s how our drain and pressure wash service works:

1. Draining the Pool: A technician will visit a day prior to the pressure wash to set up a submersible pump and drain the pool, typically directing the water to the street.
2. Equipment Safety: The technician will disconnect power to your pool’s equipment to prevent damage from running dry.
3. Pressure Washing: Once the pool is empty, we’ll remove debris and pressure wash the pool’s interior the following day.
4. Refilling the Pool: It’s your responsibility to refill the pool and inform us when it’s done. The water should reach at least halfway up the top of the skimmer.
5. Chemical Rebalancing: Our technician will return to rebalance your pool’s chemistry as soon as the pool is refilled.

Top 5 Important Reminders

• It’s challenging to give an exact time of our technician’s arrival as it varies each week.
• Your presence is not required during the service, allowing you to utilize your time elsewhere.
• Ensure clear access to both the pool and its equipment.
• Keep any aggressive pets secured during our visit.
• After the service, you will receive a detailed email report of the work performed.

Additional Important Information

• Debris Disposal: Discuss with your technician where to place the pool debris. We leave the debris on your property, as it’s heavy and unsanitary to transport when wet.
• Fiberglass Pools: Please inform us immediately if your pool is fiberglass, as draining can damage these pools. Responsibility falls on the customer if we’re not notified in advance.

Think about our weekly maintenance service for hassle-free pool care. We handle everything, including:

• Skimming water surfaces
• Cleaning skimmer and pump baskets
• Testing and balancing water chemistry
• Vacuuming the pool as needed
• Brushing pool/spa walls and floor
• Brushing tile as needed
• Checking equipment and conducting necessary backwash or filter rinse
• Sending service email with before and after photos, chemical readings, and dosages
• Note: All standard chemicals included; specialty chemicals may incur an additional charge.
