We are committed to providing you with the best service to ensure your pool remains a sparkling and enjoyable part of your home or business. Below you’ll find our Pool Service Agreement, last updated on March 27, 2024. This agreement outlines our responsibilities, your responsibilities as a valued customer, additional services, and other important details about our working relationship.

Our Weekly Responsibilities

As part of our commitment to maintaining your pool, our team will:

  • Skim water surfaces.
  • Clean skimmer and pump baskets.
  • Test and balance water chemistry.
  • Vacuum the pool as needed.
  • Brush pool/spa walls and floor.
  • Brush tile as necessary.
  • Check equipment and backwash or rinse the filter if necessary.
  • Send a service email with before and after photos, along with chemical readings and dosages.

Note: All standard chemicals are included. Specialty chemicals will be charged additionally.

Customer Responsibilities

Pool Equipment

It is your responsibility to:

  • Keep all pool and spa equipment in good running condition.
  • Maintain the proper water level in the pool and spa.
  • Note: In case of equipment issues or low water levels, our team will do their best to clean and treat the pool at the weekly visit.

Vegetation

Please ensure that:

  • All vegetation around the pool is kept trimmed and clean.
  • Note: Excessive debris from overhead trees may result in an additional clean-up fee.

Events & Party Clean Up

For any extra cleans or clean-ups, we request that you provide 48 hours notice to ensure our team is prepared.

Additional Services & Repairs

We offer the following services at an additional cost:

  • Changing and/or cleaning cartridge filters, DE filter grids.
  • Sand changes, salt cell replacements.
  • Draining of the pool or spa.
  • Removal of calcium deposit on tile.
  • New equipment and light installs.
  • Automation and programming.
  • Pool resurfacing and retiling.

Note: Unless an emergency repair is needed and you are unavailable, all necessary repairs over $100.00 will be discussed with you prior to beginning any repair work.

Poolie Inc. will not take any responsibility for the plaster or any characteristics of the plaster, such as but not limited to peeling, chipping, etching, blotching, mottled, rust stains, fertilizer stains, or streaked appearance etc.

Service Model

Filter Cleanings

Filters will be cleaned a minimum of twice a year at a cost of $150. This will be done without prior authorization, based on when the PSI/pool indicates a need. Should your filters require more than two cleanings a year, we will seek your approval before proceeding.

Bad Weather

In cases of heavy rain, excessive wind, temperatures below 40 degrees, or other hazardous conditions, we will only balance the chemicals in your pool and empty the basket. Service may be delayed in events of ice, sleet, or snow until travel conditions are safe. No refunds for partial service are given, but additional time will be allocated on the following visit.

Route Changes & Holidays

While we aim to maintain consistency in service days and technicians, changes may occasionally occur. We will inform you in advance of any such changes.

Holidays: No service will be provided on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Services will be rescheduled within the same week.

Locked Gates / Missed Appointments

Please inform us in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule a service. No refunds will be issued for instances such as locked gates or aggressive dogs preventing our team from servicing your pool. We will try to revisit or reschedule within the same week, with an added $25 trip charge.

Billing

Billing will occur at the end of each month for the prior month’s services. Service will be prorated as necessary. Invoices will be sent by the 10th of the month, with payment due by the 15th. Repairs will be invoiced as work is completed.

We require all customers to put a credit card on file. If you opt out of autopay, please indicate so on the form below. Credit cards on file will be charged only if payments are more than 15 days late.
